I attended the University of Virginia where I graduated with Highest Honors in Global Public Health and Neuroscience. During college, I participated in the UVA Saturday Enrichment and Arts Mentors Program, tutoring both middle school and high school students in Math and Science courses. When I was young, I had difficulty with both Science and Math, so I understand the stress and the need for a caring teacher. I work with my students to break down the concepts, and then build them back up to help the students fully comprehend the lessons. I try to ignite a passion for learning by encouraging hard work and the quest for success. I am available to work with you in number of courses, including Algebra, Calculus, Elementary Math, Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Cell Biology, College Essays, Creative Writing, Poetry Writing, College Algebra, Public Health, AP Chemistry, Middle School Math, English, and many others. My interests outside work include Zumba, nutrition awareness, and scientific research.
